May 26 - May 28

May 26:

Today Tobe had his rollercoaster museum. He has been working super hard on this and did amazing! 

May 27:

Today Tobe's class celebrated his birthday. He got to stand on a chair and they all sang happy birthday to him. He was sooo cute and funny! 

May 28:

Today Tobe opened his birthday present he was dying to open. It is this Lightning McQueen car play table. He woke us up at 6:00 am and we put it together. He is so exited about it! Then we went to Casa Bonita with some friends! Hudson and Austin came.

May 15 - May 21

May 15:

Today dad put the garden together and planted everything! I can't wait until we can eat something right from the garden. We also planted herbs in pots in our windowsill. Yay!!

May 18:

Today my brother had his special day for wearing his glasses that keep bugging him. He got 2 "new style" trains that he adores! I also had a girls camp meeting and we had to use sparklers to write Foothills Ward 2016. It turned out really cool!

May 20:

 Today dad officially finished the pantry. He did the edges and it looks so good! Because dad was being handy, Tobe wanted to too. He got his Handy Manny tools and put his shield he got at scout camp together! So cute!!

May 21:

Today we had our tournament. We FAILED so bad! But I love this team and I'm really going to miss this team. We had an amazing season! Hope we do it again next year! GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!

May 8 - May 14

May 8:

Today is Mothers Day. Made mom breakfast in bed. I looked on Pinterest and got some good inspiration. Mom really liked it and dad helped me make it. I'm really glad that I have a mother who loves me and cares for me. I love you mom!! Then we went up to Ashley's house to see her new baby boy, Tad Albert. He was so cute! 

May 13:

Today I had the Hexathalon. The P.E. teacher for our school chose 10 girls and 10 boys to be on the team. Then for 3 weeks at 8 am we had to train. It was hard, but it paid off and I learned new track technique. My grandparents even came to watch! The events I did were long jump, 100 meter dash, and 4x500 meter race. Our school won the girls 800 dash, the boys 100 dash, the boys long jump, the boys 4x500, the boys 5x100, and the girls softball. Our team did really good. Then we went to Smart Cow Frozen Yogurt to celebrate! "The Hexathalon isn't a club, it's a team" -Ethan Henak (a boy on the team)

May 14:

Today I had my volleyball game against the hardest team in the league. We played really well and WON!!!!! Now we are the top team in the league. I'm so happy that we won!! GO DOLPHINS!!!!

May 7

May 7:

Today mom got reservations at Mt. Fuji for Mothers Day. It was really cool to see them cook it in front of us! The food was good too! I enjoyed it and want to go there again sometime!

Apr 28 - May 1

April 28:

From the time that we started this school year we did choir. We got to sing at the Rockies game and other fun things like that, but what we have been practicing for more than 900 hours on is The Lion King Jr. It's this years musical. Last year was Willy Wonka, but this one was way more enjoyable. We got up every Tuesday and Thursday morning and practiced. We did 6 performances total. Three dress rehearsals, two school performances, and two after school performances. Today we did one after school for our parents and grandparents! I will miss this choir family! And Tobe has a bandaid over his nose because it is "too red for anyone to see" -Tobe. 

April 29:

Today my friend, Ashlee from Indiana, came and surprised me. She was planning on coming tomorrow, but then she came today and surprised me at school! I'm so happy that she is here! I missed her so much! I wish we didn't have to move but now we are starting to make yearly trips. She came just in time to see our other Lion King performance. 

April 29:

Today we went to Kneaders for breakfast because they have never been to one. I had another volleyball game and Ashlee came to see it. And then we went shopping at the Outlets and it was FREEZING!!!! Ashlee and I got matching outfits. Then we went to get pedicures. I had coupons from Christmas so I used them for Ashlee and I. We made picture frames and put our newest picture in it. Then we made a few music videos. Then my mom made us climb the incline in the freezing cold!! Then we went onto the computer and found some pretty sweet videos of us when we were kids!! They are great!

May 1:

Today Ashlee had to leave. I'm so sad but I'll see them next year. I loved everything we have done together and I'm so happy we have this friendship!

  

 

Apr 18 - Apr 23

April 21:

The other day we received another letter about Tobe's vision and that he needs to get it checked. We went to the eye doctor and he said that he had an astigmatism and that he will need glasses. After a while still trying to find the ones mom and him could both agree on, he chose the orange ones! 

April 23:

Today was pretty busy. This morning my mom went to a fitness thing for autistic kids. They all wore blue and participated in fitness activities. Then you could bid on some prizes. At the end my mom won a gift basket with museum tickets and some gift cards. She even bought home a little blue puzzle piece trophy for Tobe. Today is also the first day mom ever drank alcohol. It was on accident but we still make fun of her:) Then I had my volleyball game. We won. Again!! Go Dolphins!!
