February 28:
Today is my grandmother's birthday. She died when I was 5 years old from Melanoma. She was the happiest person alive. I love and miss her so much. I wish she didn't have to go, but I know that she is in a better place with better people. Heavenly Father will take care of her.
Today when we went to my brothers therapy, we stopped by this really cool store called Rocket Fizz. It has a ton of old games and toys and some weird but funny things. It was really cool.

We are now back in cold Colorado with our coats zipped up all the way to our chin. Goodbye sunny L.A. Today Mrs. Hess-Tilton, my teacher, told us we had to do a Leave a Legacy project. I was put in the homeless people group. We had to create a slide presentation and make a mini movie about why our Leave a Legacy project should be about homeless people. I had to make the movie and everyone else were the actors. And Dylan made an appearance in our movie!! This PBL (project based learning) project has been my favorite so far!

Yesterday, after school we went to Durango Colorado. It took a while to get there, but when we did it was dark and we crashed in bed. Today we woke up, got ready, and went to a soda factory called Zuberfizz. It was really interesting to see how they package and make their soda. We got some samples and then bought all of the different kinds. Some of them tasted good, and some DID NOT!! Then we went to a honey factory/store. Tobe and I bought bears and Aly bought a bear necklace. I also bought a bee pin. The honey factory you couldn't go into but you could see through windows. We also got some honey samples!

Today when we woke up, our hotel had hot chocolate and yummy waffles for breakfast. Then we went to see these old indian houses built a REALLY long time ago. It was cool to see the different types of houses.
