November 29:
Today we started setting up for Christmas. Aly of corse always gets a picture with clay guy (a "gingerbread man" dad made in elementary school). It's pretty hilarious. Here are just some of the pictures from the past years. This Year!! |
December 1:
Today we put up the pig red Christmas tree. It looks really beautiful in our window. Mom jazzed it up a bit and added some Kneaders decorations. Tobe loves the zoo train that Brother Winkler (our old home teacher and good friend) gave us last Christmas. And I might have fallen off of a chair right into the tree. Aly got a video and I would put it up if only I knew how to. Oh well. Now you can't see my awkward clumsiness!
Today was crazy hair day. Aly went full out with blue hair dye and I just dipped my ends. It looks really good but I'm glad it's a one day thing.
December 3:
Today we had a winter choir concert. We sang fun Christmas songs and afterward we did our fun tradition, going to Freddy's and eating dinner!!
December 4:
Today we picked names for our family gift exchange. We all pick a name from a mug and then whoever you pick you have to buy a Christmas present for. Tobe and dad also did a festive Christmas puzzle that was 1,000 pieces and finished in less than 2 hours. They are strong puzzle builders!
Today's advent calendar said to go to the Grange Christmas party. There was a photo booth, free rubber duckies, yummy treats and hot cocoa, and real reindeer!! Aly and I also did a fun craft. We made cute, festive cards and reindeer head wall decor! It looks pretty cute!
